I love living in a university town! This sounds like a great program created by the Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) at the University of Arkansas. I can’t wait until my boys are old enough to participate (it is for 3rd-6th graders)
Students learn how chocolate is made and the many areas of business that factor in (marketing, supply and demand, logistics, budgeting, etc.) They are then divided into teams and work with a SIFE student as their college mentor to help develop their own chocolate company and product. At the end of the day, the students give a presentation in front of their peers and parents.
