Walking with Dinosaurs at Alltel Arena: November 7-11, 2007

Fifteen life-sized dinosaurs are traveling to Alltel Arena in North Little Rock from November 7-11, 2007 for a show based on the BBC television series Walking with Dinosaurs.  You can see pictures of a dinosaur in the exhibit here and a video of bits of what you will see at the show here and even more information and background on the show here.

It looks to be an amazing experience.  If your kids are into dinosaurs, it would be worth the trip to Little Rock.  You can buy tickets here.

While you’re there, you may also want to see the Smithsonian’s exhibit Jim Henson’s Fantastic World at the Arkansas Arts Center.  It runs through November 25.

If you go, other kid friendly activities in Little Rock include the Museum of Discovery, the Little Rock Zoo, and the Arkansas Children’s Theatre at the Arkansas Arts Center.
