Vacation Bible School was a standard for my summers growing up. It is a great (and inexpensive) way to add some variety to your child’s summer activities. Most churches do not require that you be a member to attend. So, it is a great way for children new to the area to make friends before school starts.
My kids will be attending the joint program held by the Episcopal churches in Northwest Arkansas. That Bible School is scheduled for June 9-13, 2008 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Springdale. It runs from 9:00 am to Noon for grades K- 5th (fall ‘08). You can register online by clicking here.
