The Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks is offering Tai Chi Movement Classes for all ages during October. Tai Chi and the related practice, Qigong, are low-impact exercises that build balance and coordination while relieving stress.

The first half-hour of each class, a series of “animal frolics” will be suitable for very young children accompanied by a caregiver.

These sessions, designed for beginners, will take place from 9:30 am to 11 am on Tuesdays and from 6 pm to 7:30 pm on Thursdays. The October 2 and 4 classes will be offered free of charge in celebration of the Garden’s grand opening.  A small fee will be charged for subsequent classes.
