Here is a recap of great recommendations from the comments on All Sides of Life:
- Nelson reminds me that Chuck E. Cheese sells beer, which should make the chaos more bearable for those with an aversion to the place. He also recommends the smoked gouda cheese dip at Piccasso’s Pizza.
- Alannah recommends the Kids Pack at Penguin Eds, which offers vegtables as a side option. She also loves the tomato soup at Greenhouse Grill, and the mango salsa made with Villa Belmonte pesto.
- Matt recommends Ray’s Florist in Fayetteville.
- Molly recommends Thep Thai for dinner with the whole gang. But, get there early for a big table, and don’t miss the large beer selection. She also recommends the Ozark Reptile museum for a quick, inexpensive outing for kids with an interest in creepy crawly things!
Keep the comments coming, and thanks for reading All Sides of Life.

I would also recommend the kids pack (for the entire family) at Fudruckers. A family of 4 can eat a filling meal for under $25! I’m not even sure what they offer on the menu besides the kids meal…it’s all we ever eat there.
I wanted to put in a good word for the wonderful staff at Fayetteville’s Nightbird books. They are absolutely wonderful with kids. There is a wonderful bird habitat with babies and all. The owner will answer any questions the kids may have about them. It can be hard to shop for yourself with small ones, but the last time I was in they offered to do an improptu “storytime” just for my kids so I could browse.
