Puppet Camps with Jo Ann Kaminsky at The Art Experience

Jo Ann Kaminsky (you have seen her puppets in the First Night parade) is hosting two puppet camps this summer:

  • Giant Puppet Camp — children ages 8 and up will work as a group to create a giant puppet for the First Night parade.  August 6-10, 2007; 9am-3pm; $75, or $250 for a group of 4.
  • Fractured Fairy Tales Camp — children ages 9 and up will work with a group creating a puppet play based on a "fractured" fairy tale, creating their own slant to an original tale, from script work, to puppet making and performance.  June 18-25, 2007; 9am to noon; $180.
