Picasso’s Pizza and More!

by Terri Chadick on January 2, 2007

UPDATE:  Sources say that Picasso’s has closed.  :(

One of our favorite places to eat with kids is Picasso’s Pizza.  Here are 3 reasons why . . .

  1. The Food — This is not your typical pizza joint.  The dinner menu is full of gourmet pizzas, pastas, and other dishes.  We often order pizza for the kids and pasta for the adults.  We love the green apple salad, the chicken and roasted corn chowder, the portabella mushroom lasagna, and the garlic mashed potatoes (not necessarily all at once!).
  2. The Location – The restaurant is located in west Fayetteville, at the corner of Wedington Drive and Rupple Road (right where you turn to go to the Boys and Girls Club), so it is a convenient spot for a post game lunch or dinner.  It is also close to the Lewis/Asbell Soccer fields, which makes it perfect for a post soccer game meal too.

Hours:  M-Th 11-9, F-Sat 11-10, Sun 4-9

We actually went there last night, and it was a really great restaurant experience. We sat by the big screen TV and let the kids play in the game room. The food was amazing (especially the Smoked Gouda cheese dip appetizer!). Thanks for the recommendation!
