Panera Bread

by Terri Chadick on January 23, 2007

I know that Panera Bread is a good option for eating out with kids (and a great place for some alone time with a free wireless hot spot).  But, until reading this post at Quick Serve Kids, I did not realize that Panera food is trans-fat-free and that the restaurant provides a kids’ menu with organic and natural ingredients.  I wish more restaurants would do the same.  Does anyone know of other restaurants in Northwest Arkansas with healthy options on their kids’ menus?

Panera has locations in Fayetteville and Bentonville.

The Greenhouse Grille has healthy options and we always love the Kids’ Pack at Penguin Ed’s (with options of vegetables as sides). I’ll see if I can think of more.

Jose’s also offers trans-fat-free food. The chips are now cooked in a trans-fat-free oil. They have some vegetarian items on the kids menu as well as the adults. Great salsa, too!

Also, kids eat free at Jose’s on Sundays and Wednesdays – that is always a plus!!!
