Ozark Mountain Smokehouse

The Ozark Mountain Smokehouse is another Fayetteville tradition.  The main smokehouse is located on Hwy 62, but the Smokehouse has several locations throughout Arkansas.  The Bentonville location is situated on a 7 acre farmstead with a hidden spring.  I like to eat lunch at the Dickson Street location.  The decor is spare, but has the feel of an old country store (with a free wireless internet connection).  You can order sandwiches made from the famous smokehouse meats, and they have recently added bar-b-que to the menu.  You can also warm up with a bowl of chili or beans and ham.  Also, the Smokehouse ships their meats, cheese, and other delicacies nationwide, so when your friends up north want a taste of the Ozarks, you may want to send them something from the Smokehouse.
