As many of you know, I am on the board of directors of TheatreSquared, Northwest Arkansas’ only professional theatre company.  I believe in the organization and what it brings to Northwest Arkansas, especially its quality theater for children.

In connection with TheatreSquared’s upcoming show, Noodle Doodle Box, we are hosting a family fundraiser at the Nadine Baum Studios in Fayetteville.  Some of you may remember a similar event for TheatreSquared’s JungalBook production.  That night was tons of fun, and this event will be, too.

Here’s how it works — before the 6pm Noodle Doodle Box performance on March 1, 2008 the lobby and other areas of Nadine Baum Studios will be turned into a carnival atmosphere with games and crafts and food.  Families can enjoy the festivities, have dinner, and meet other families.  Then, everyone goes in to see the 6pm Noodle Doodle Box performance.

The cost for the event is $25 per person, and includes dinner and tickets to the show.  Everything over the ticket cost is tax deductible as a donation to TheatreSquared. 

If the entire family can’t make it, don’t worry — it will be a perfect night out with mom or dad for the kids who can be there.  It will also be great fun for grandparents and grandkids.

The theatre is small (which makes it even better for kids) so reserve your place at the fundraiser soon! 

One last thing — if you are affiliated with any playgroups, preschools, church groups, etc. who would like to take a group to see Noodle Doodle Box, email me and I will get you in touch with the right person to reserve your seats.
