We’ve really enjoyed getting our daughter’s cakes at RIck’s bakery (they’ve done a tiger cake, a Thomas the tank Engine cake , an Ariel cake–all tasty and gorgeous) and had her big girl birthday parties at the Boy’s and Girl’s club pool.

The Northwest Arkansas Community Creative Center (NWACCC) is also a great place to have a birthday party! We host “Play in Clay” parties for kids where everyone gets to make something special with clay, and the birthday boy or girl gets a turn on the wheel. Two artists work with the children for 2 hours, we take pictures during the event, and the kids get to pick up what they made 2 weeks later. We also provide special invitations to the party.

NWACCC is located in the Nadine Baum Studios at 505 W. Spring Street in Fayetteville. Please call 479-927-2491 for more details.

I have purchased my son’s birthday party supplies online at http://www.birthdayinabox.com the last two years and have been very inpresssed with their selection of themes as well as all the little accessories to match. They also have excellent customer service, which can be hard to find.

Our son had two birthday parties at Ozark Lanes in Fayetteville, and the kids had a great time bowling (with the rails up, of course). We provided our own invitations and plates, but their package includes invitations, a cake delivered from Rick’s bakery, soft drinks, and paper products. Bring your own candles and matches. You can pay Rick’s a bit extra if you want something other than the standard cake.

My daughter will be 9 years old next month. She will have her party at Lokomotion Family Fun Park in Fayetteville. It is very affordable. The go-karts & bumper boats are the highlights of the party. More info can be found at http://www.lokomotion.com.

There is a brand new fun park in Lowell called Fast Lane Entertainment. I haven’t taken my daughter yet, but I’ve heard rave reviews about it. They offer several party packages. There is a two-level laser tag game, indoor bowling & track, and of course video games. Check it out at http://www.fastlanebowl.com.
