The public is invited to Crystal Bridges at the Massey tonight (Friday, September 7, 2007) from 6-8pm to create their own mural panels in conjunction with the “Views from a Traveling Train: Paintings from the Arkansas Children’s Hospital” exhibit.

The Views from a Traveling Train exhibit features 4×4 foot panels showing scenes from around the state seen through the eyes of young artists as if viewed through a train window.  The paintings were created by Arkansas Children’s Hospital patients and their siblings.

Supplies will be available, and the panels created tonight will be installed at the Crystal Bridges’ Fencework Gallery, a community mural project posted on a fence along the museum’s construction service yard (NE J Street near John DeShields Blvd. in Bentonville).  The event is free, and children are welcome.
