Sorry we haven’t posted any frugalness on our blog! My best frugal tip is a moot point now. Our favorite place to eat is Fudrucker’s. We would get 3 kids burgers: 1 per adult and 1 to split between the girls. Free refills, enough food to fill you up, and a dessert for 4 people, under $12!! That’s cheaper than McDonald’s! However, both Fudrucker’s have closed down, so our frugal tip of eating cheap there is not worth much.

I guess the best advice I have is to get kids meals as often as possible…they’re cheaper and the portion size is better for you.

I’ll forgive you this time ;). I agree about the kids meals. With the crazy big portions these days, kid size is the smarter choice.

I didn’t see a link to one of our fave frugal sites:
    http://www.thesimpledollar.com/

I subscribed to it when it was just an e-letter years ago. Great advice for everyone.

Thanks for all the useful info!
