If you are not familiar with the Tricycle Theatre for Youth in Bentonville, you should be. The Trike’s 1, 2 and 4 week drama camps are taught by professional theater artists with a passion for sharing a love of drama with kids.
Tricycle Theatre may be the new kid on the block when it comes to local youth drama options, but the Trike is making a big splash with its inaugural summer camp themes. Just look at the line up:
- Pirate Adventures on the High Seas – Learn to be a pirate through drama adventures, songs, dances and visual art.
Dates: July 6-10
Ages: 4yr – entering Kindergarteners 9-11:30am; entering 1st-2nd graders 1-3:30pm
Cost: $125 - Nate the Great: Super Sleuth – Students will become detectives to solve a mystery with Nate the Great.
Dates: July 13-17
Ages: 4yr –entering Kindergarteners 9-11:30am, entering 1st-2nd graders 1-3:30pm
Cost: $125 - Greek Myths – Students will delve into Greek mythology and will create and perform a myth or two of their own.
Dates: July 20-31 (2 weeks, M-F)
Ages: entering 3rd -8th graders 9am-Noon and/or 1-4pm
Cost: $300 half-day camp or $600 full day camp - Upside Down Fairytales – Students will retell stories in new ways through creative drama, song, dance and visual art.
Dates: August 10-14
Ages: 4yrs – entering Kindergarten 9-11:30am and/or 1-3:30pm
Cost: $125 half-day camp
