From the Summer Camp Guide: Performing Arts Camps at the Walton Arts Center

Let your child unleash his or her inner performing artist!

Summer is right around the corner – register your child now for exciting performing arts camps at Walton Arts Center. This summer’s programs are offered in half and full-day camps and will teach your child skills that artists use to produce great works like those seen on the Walton Arts Center stage.

This summer, campers will work with magicians from Spencer’s Theatre of Illusion, artists from Tricycle Theater for Youth and TheatreSquared, and circus performers from next season’s Sweet Can Circus.

• The Magician’s Art / June 8-12 for ages 10-16
• Summer Choral Intensive / June 15-19 for ages 7-12
• The American Dream on Stage: TheatreSquared’s Summer Drama Academy / June 22-July 2 for grades 5-12
• Creative Drama: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe / June 29-July 2 for ages 4-7
• Circus Arts with Sweet Can Productions / July 21-31 for ages 10 and up
