The University of Arkansas Department of Electrical Engineering Presents….Let’s turn our world GREEN!, a free science and technology program focused on renewable energy.
The FREE event is scheduled for Saturday May 30, 2009 from 10am to 3pm at the Lake Fayetteville Marina and is limited to 20 4th-8th graders accompanied by a parent.
Kids will explore solar energy and engineering principles with the assistance of students and faculty from the University of Arkansas department of Electrical Engineering while teaming up to build a solar energy collector system.
This free Solar Saturday Adventure is supported by the University Of Arkansas Department Of Electrical Engineering, IEEE Power Electronics Society and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
Priority registration ends May 18, 2009. There is a limit of 20 students for this program.
