Festival of Ozark Civil War Heritage

Pea Ridge National Military Park is hosting its second annual Festival of Ozark Civil War Heritage Reunion this weekend.  Saturday’s schedule includes: 

  • A “Battlefield Archeology”presentation from 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. by Dr. Doug Scott at the Visitor’s Center
  • Civil War Era music at the Elkhorn Tavern from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Webb Civil War antique collection from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Visitor Center
  • Civil War soldier’s cooking demonstration presented by Doug Laman from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Elkhorn Tavern
  • Artillery and infantry demonstrations featuring the 15 th Northwest Arkansas Infantry from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Elkhorn Tavern
  • 19 th century tinsmith demonstrations presented by Robert Stone from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Elkhorn Tavern
