Main Street Rogers’ 4th Annual Fall Festival has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 11th.  The four part event will take place in Historic Downtown Rogers near the Frisco Stage, located at 1st and Elm Streets.

DesignWorks invites your family to design a frightful holiday yard decoration at its Build-a-Scarecrow event.  The first 200 families who come by Frisco Park between 9am and 1 pm will receive supplies to assemble their own scarecrow.  Materials are free, and you are encouraged to bring any creative accessories you like for your scarecrow—hats, shoes, etc.  Put it together on site, and take it home with you when you’re finished.  Baked goods, coffee, hot chocolate, and hot cider will be for sale, with proceeds donated to Main Street Rogers.

The Rogers Farmers Market will hold their 5th annual Pumpkin Fest from 7am-1pm.  They will feature fall decorations, pumpkins, gourds, corn shocks, and crafts as well as the locally grown fresh produce and cut flowers.

You’re back on the farm with the Downtown Hay Ride, offered by Farmers Insurance – McLeod Agency.  A trailer piled high with hay bales will pick up passengers at Frisco Stage and take you on a tour of Rogers’ brick-lined downtown streets.  Stop by between 9am and 1 pm to enjoy a leisurely free ride and feel the fall breeze on your face.

That new scarecrow will need a few plants to protect it in the front yard this season.  Accent your home’s landscaping with fresh flowers from the Fall Plant Sale, hosted by the Main Street Rogers Business Committee.  In addition to the quality products already offered in the downtown shops, a variety of mums and pansies will be available for purchase.  Proceeds from the sale support the Rogers Historic District.
