From Main Street Rogers:

Check out what’s new when it comes to environmentally conscious products and local efforts to protect and promote our local environment at Environmental Day at Frisco Park in Downtown Rogers on Saturday, April 18th. The event will be 9am to 1pm., but actually starts at 8:45 a.m. with an announcement about the Rogers Trail System.

Some events bound to delight your family include a mini golf course from Advanced Air, taste tests of chicken cooked on an environmentally friendly stove using wood pellets, a windmill display, and a plant sale sponsored by the Main Street Rogers Business Committee. Join the Rogers Farmers Market and learn what it takes to plant a garden in the parking lot at Arkansas and Elm Streets.

Bring your family for a fun time, free giveaways, and helpful information at Environmental Day in the Rogers Historic District! Come a little early and stop off at the Rogers Fire Department’s Pancake Breakfast beginning at 6 a.m. at Station No. 1, located at the corner of First and Chestnut streets.

For more information, call Main Street Rogers at 936-5487.
