Dragonfly ID Class at the Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks

by Terri Chadick on October 16, 2007

Sorry for the late notice, but I just learned about this today:  on Wednesday (tomorrow), October 18, 2007 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, there will be a dragonfly identification class for children and adults at the Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks in Fayetteville.  Here’s the information:

You’ve seen them darting across the Great Lawn or dipping to the surface of a water feature for a quick drink. Dragonflies are jewels of the Garden, and they come in every color of the spectrum. In this class, published dragonfly photographer Robert Thomas will lead participants in discovering and identifying the many dragonflies and damselflies that call the Garden home. This class will be of interest to children and adults. The class will take place near water features in the Garden. Handouts will be provided. $5 members/ $10 non-members. Reserve your place by calling 756-2620
