Dogwood Walk at Gulley Park

by Terri Chadick on April 29, 2009

The Humane Society of the Ozarks is having its 17th Annual Dogwood Walk this Saturday at Gulley Park in Fayetteville. Registration begins at 9:00 am. Click here for a brochure and registration form.

Lots of contests, including the Fastest Frisbee Fetch, with Celebrity Judges Mayor Lioneld Jordan, Kelly George, JJ Ryan, and Dan Hentschel; demonstrations by Dogwatch, Canine Connection, and Washington County Search and Rescue; Grand Marshal UA Athletic Director Jeff Long; pet portraits by Wendy Dunn; lots of vendors and rescue organizations with pets available for adoption; free pizza and drinks after the walk; and $25 micro-chipping at the Fayetteville Animal Services booth.

It’s $25 to walk and get a Dogwood Walk t-shirt. For an additional $25 donation, get a great goody bag.

Rain or shine – the dogs love it either way! See you there!
