Robin Verble, Graduate Student UA Entomology Department will present a workshop on Bug Collecting at the Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks. Participants will collect insects and learn how to properly kill, preserve, pin, mount, spread and label them.
The workshop is scheduled for Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. and will last 4 hours. It includes lunch, a bug box, pins, manual, label and collector jars.
Recommended ages are 4th grade and above. Adults are welcome.
$40 non-members, $35 members. Reservations are required and due by August 20th.
