Cats at the Walton Arts Center

by Terri Chadick on June 19, 2007

My boys were introduced to the soundtrack of the Broadway musical CATS at an early age by their grandmother (who has a cat named Jellie — short for Jellico, of course).  So, they are all thrilled to know that CATS is coming to the Walton Arts Center.

I just learned that Sunday, June 24 is Family Night at the show.  Ticket holders are encouraged to bring their children one hour prior to the 7 p.m. performance for face painting by CATS cast members.  How fun!

  • What:  CATS
  • When:  June 22-24, 2007
  • Where:  Walton Arts Center
  • Cost:  $44, $48, $52 (call the box office 443-5600 or order online)

Thanks so much for telling us about the face painting. As a result, we took our almost-five-year-old daughter (after placing a rush order for the DVD so we could preview it with her so she would be ready for the scarier parts) and had a wonderful time. She was fascinated by the entire production. (And, we went to Gelato Scarpino before the show, which we learned about from your Restaurant posts.)
