why we like it – Old Navy carries bright, preppy (and often absurdly cheap) kids clothes.

The Old Navy in Fayetteville is located South of the Northwest Arkansas Mall.  From North College Ave., take Joyce Street going West.  Turn Left on Mall Avenue.  You will see Old Navy to your Left, in the same shopping center as Bed Bath and Beyond.

Ryan’s Clothing in Springdale

why we like it- You will definitely feel like you stepped back in time when you enter Ryan’s in Springdale.  We like the children’s department’s selection of brand names like Levis jeans and Nike apparel at reasonable prices.

Ryan’s is located on Emma Avenue in downtown Springdale.  From Hwy 71 (called North Thompson in Springdale) go East at the Emma Ave stoplight.  Ryan’s will be on your left, near the intersection of Emma and Spring Street.  If you cross the train tracks, you have gone too far.  Click here for a map.

TJ Maxx in Fayetteville and Rogers

why we like it — If you enjoy digging for bargains, you can find great deals on designer duds for babies and kids at TJ Maxx.

  • From Bentonville: Take I-540 to Rogers to the New Hope Road exit (Exit 83). Turn left onto New Hope Road. Turn right on Bellview Road or Promenade Blvd. You will see the Promenade

120x30 Kohl'sKohl’s provides a good selection of moderately priced brand name baby and children’s clothes.  Kohl’s fits somewhere between a discount store such as Target, and a mid level department store such as JC Penny.  The cash registers are up front like in discount stores, but they sell brands commonly found in department stores such as Carter’s, Oshkosh and Nike. Old Navy in Fayetteville

Old Navy carries cute, inexpensive maternity clothes.  However, the last time we checked, only the Fayetteville store has a maternity department.  NOT the Rogers store.

But, Benton County ladies, don’t worry.  You can still shop for Old Navy maternity items online.  You gotta love the internet!

why we like it– at Cravings! you can shop brands like Notice, Language Los Angeles and Trimester for you, then step next door into Monday’s Child and pick up something for the baby on the way.

why we like it– We love locally owned stores, as well as the Japanese Weekend line of maternity/nursing clothes.  Two Chic gives us both (along with Citizens of Humanity maternity jeans, Paige Denim, Belly Bands and more).
