Here is information from the Morning News about various basketball camps in Northwest Arkansas:

*BENTONVILLE BOYS CAMP: The Tiger Roundball skills camp will be held June 4-7 for boys entering grades 2-7 at Bentonville High. Cost is $55 and $60 after June 1. Contact Mike Nelson at 254-5138.

* BENTONVILLE GIRLS CAMP: The Northwest Arkansas Basketball Camps (Bentonville) will be June 19-21. The Elementary Camp will be held from 5-8 p.m. for grades 1-5. The Position Camp is noon-3 p.m. for grades 6-9. Cost is $50 for either camp, which includes a T-shirt, basketball, awards and a camp certificate. Call 479-254-5137.

* FAYETTEVILLE BOYS CAMP: The Fayetteville Bulldog basketball camp will be held Jun 11-14 at the Fayetteville High gym. The camp is open for boys or girls entering grades 1-9 Fee is $50. Call Barry Gebhart at 444-3050 ext. 135 or e-mail bgebhard @fayar.net. To preregister return a form with the fee to Barry Gebhart, 1001 Stone, Fayetteville AR 72701.

* FAYETTEVILLE GIRLS CAMP: Fayetteville High Lady Bulldogs Elementary Camp June 25-28, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. For girls in grades 4-7. Cost is $50 per camper. Call Bobby Smith at 444-3050 ext. 111 or email bgsmith@fayar.net.

* GEORGE JH CAMP: George Junior High in Springdale will host a Wranglers Camp May 15-17 from 4:30-6:30 for boys and girls in grades 1-3. The cost is $30 per camper. Make checks payable to: Jimmy Jester/Joveta Thrasher, 3200 S. Powell St., Springdale AR 72762.

* HAR-BER GIRLS CAMP: The Springdale Har-Ber Lady Wildcat Basketball Camp is June 11-14 from 1-4:30 p.m. for girls in grades 1-9 (next school year). The cost is $45 if pre-registered and $50 at the door. Each camper will receive a T-shirt, certificate, and progress report. * HAR-BER BOYS CAMP: The 3rd Springdale Har-Ber boys camp is June 4-7 for boys in grades 3-4 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 5th-6th grade from 1-4 p.m. There will be another camp for 7-9 grades on June 25-28 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Cost is $55 and each camper will receive a T-shirt, basketball and coupons for food. * ROGERS GIRLS CAMP: The Rogers High girls camp is June 25-27. There are three sessions: K-1 grades 8:15-9:30 a.m. ($30); 2-4 grade 10 a.m.-noon ($40); 5-6 grade 2-4 p.m. ($40). All campers receive a T-shirt and basketball. Call 636-2202, ext. 140 or e-mail pearly@rhs.k12.ar.us

* SPRINGDALE GIRLS CAMP: The Springdale Lady Bulldog Basketball Camp is June 5-8 for girls entering grades 1-9 next year. The camp runs from 8:00-11:30 and will be at Springdale High School’s main gym. The cost is only $35 if pre-registered and $45 at the door. Brochures can be obtained by e-mailing Scotty Person at sperson@sdale.org, or calling 957-8271. Brochures are also available at Springdale High School’s main office, the Springdale athletic office and the Springdale Youth Center.
