Arts Live Theatre announces its class schedule for the Spring 2009 semester. Classes will begin the week of February 23 through the week of May 8. Arts Live Theatre classes and productions are designed to provide professional theatrical training for children and youth from grades K-12, while also promoting self-confidence, creative skills and developing friendships in a positive and safe environment. Classes will be held at Arts Live Theatre, 1378 North College, Evelyn Hills Shopping Center, Fayetteville.

Playmakers 1 (Grades K-1)
Let your imagination soar in this class designed to bring out creativity through fun games and exercises! Please choose one of the following weekly sessions:
Mondays 4:00-4:45pm $110 Min-4 Max-8. Inst: Jules Taylor
Thursdays 4:30-5:15pm $110 Min-4 Max-8. Inst: Jules Taylor
Saturdays 9.30-10.15am $110 Min-4 Max-8. Inst: Betty Anderson
Playmakers 2 (Grades 2-4)
The next level in the Playmakers classes where, in addition to games and exercises, basic acting skills and theatre technique are taught. Please choose one of the following weekly sessions:
Mondays 5:00-6:00pm $120 Min-5 Max-10. Inst: Missy Gipson
Saturdays 10.30-11.30am. $120 Min-5 Max-8. Inst: Betty Anderson
Comedy Improv (Grades 5-7)
An introduction to acting techniques used by the pros AND perform monthly!
Mondays 6:00-7:00pm $120 Min-5 Max-10. Inst: Missy Gipson
Theatre Production (Grades 5-7)
A one act production will be the final project of this class to be performed at the end of the semester in May. Be a part of a company of actors creating a piece from beginning to end!
Thursdays 5.30-6.30pm $120 Min-5 Max-10. Inst: Jules Taylor
Professional Development (Grades 6-12)
This special class is designed for those who are curious about, or considering a professional career. Topics such as auditions, headshots, resumes, survival skills and how the business works in general will be covered.
Wednesdays, 5.30-6.30pm $120 Min-5 Max-15. Inst: Virginia Scheuer.
