Cesarean Awareness Month Reception: “VBAC… A Labor of Love”
At the Jones Center for Families in the Chapel Room on Saturday, April 11th at 10:00am
The event will feature the premiere of “Bring Back VBAC,” a locally directed and produced documentary addressing maternal health in Northwest Arkansas. Proclamations from state and local leaders, declaring April 2009 as Cesarean Awareness Month, will be on display. A silent auction and reception will follow.
This is a free event, open to the public, and hosted by International Cesarean Awareness Network (ICAN) of NW Arkansas and BirthNetwork of NWA. Childcare will be provided.

Rally to Bring VBAC Back!
Northwest Arkansas hospitals are refusing women the right to attempt Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC), a safe and effective option to avoid the risks of repeat cesarean. This blanket ban is unacceptable to many people in our community. Concerned citizens will rally at four local hospitals, over a period of four weeks, to request that each hospital reverse their no-VBAC policy.
Families are encouraged to attend. Please bring your own sign of support, and invite your friends!
