If so, you need to check out the Daily Chrysalis, a blog by local mom, Lindsay. Her contribution to the Frugal Life+Kids Week is this excellent post on how to become a frugal scrapbooker.
Confession: I keep returning to Lindsay’s other blog, Scraptacular, just to hear the Jack Johnson song, Better Together. Am I the only one who has never heard it before?
This post is part of the Frugal Life+Kids Week brought to you by Once Upon a Child — the best place to find kids’ stuff with previous experience in Fayetteville.
You will not want to miss a single frugal tip, so check back daily. Or, better yet, click here to subscribe to Life+Kids and receive free email updates on all things kid related in Northwest Arkansas.

Got something to say?

I am a scrapbooker too, and for time and money’s sake, I am planning to change my scrapbooking format starting with my 2007 photos. I plan to make all my books on iphoto–I won’t have to pay for tape, papes, stickers, embellishments or any of that. I think that I will really come out ahead and still have a very nice book for my family to enjoy.
I love traditional scrapbooking, and I will continue doing it to finish up albums from past years (which should take me a while), but I really think that working on iphoto will allow me to accomplish much more and keep life simple.
Thanks to everyone, especially Life+Kids for your support!
I’ve been blogging on “scraptacular” for a few years now but Im just getting “Daily Chrysalis” up and running as a creative outlet for myself (to keep the other one more about family.)
And I smile every time I hear that Jack Johnson song–I love it too!
Elise — I love the iphoto idea. It will make your scrapbooks easy to share, too.
Lindsay — I’m always glad to point Life+Kids readers to great local blogs!
