Update: The Chamber has announced that it will no longer be hosting the Balloon Fest. So, unless things change, 2007 was the last Ozark Balloon Fest.
The Ozark Balloon Fest is a great family event in Bentonville. The festival has an amazing number of hot air balloons, as well as carnival games and food.
My favorite part of the event is the “Balloon Glow” at 8:45pm each night. When the weather is good, the Glows are spectacular to see. Also, Balloon flights occur at 6pm each night. The proceeds from the event benefit the Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter.

- Where: Bentonville Municipal Airport (map)
- Cost: $4 adults, $2 children 3-12, Free under 3 years old
